Mac Miller Drops 'Self Care' Music Video

Prior to the release of the much-awaited album, Miller also shared the music video for "Self Care." The almost five-minute clip, which was uploaded on YouTube on Thursday, opens with Miller lying inside a box that looks like a coffin.

He is holding a flashlight while trying to figure out a way to escape from the box. Miller immediately breaks into singing the lines to his song 34 seconds into the music video. The rap artist removes his shoes at one point in the clip, and he also lights and puffs a cigarette.

Ariana Grande's ex-boyfriend also declares that he is treating himself right by making sure that he is taking care of himself. Rumors swirled that Miller's new song is about her ex-girlfriend. Grande and Miller split last May after two months of dating.

Ariana Grande Opens Up About Mac Miller Split

Prior to their breakup, Grande gushed over Miller on her social media account. In one of her posts, the "Dangerous Woman" singer called the rapper her rock and best friend.

"I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for us!" wrote Grande.

According to People, "Self Care" is all about Miller rapping about how he has been dealing with his personal struggles. Following his and Grande's split, the "Bed" singer dated Pete Davidson. The couple is now engaged.

'Swimming,' 'Sweetener' Release Dates

On Friday, Grande also dropped a new track called "God Is A Woman." The song, which is the third track she released off of Sweetener, boasts of a positive message.

Fans of the ex-couple are convinced that Miller and Grande spoke with each other indirectly through their music.

Miller's Swimming album will be available on all digital platforms and record stores on Aug. 3. Grande's compilation Sweetener will be available on Aug. 17.
