Last night, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon got a performance from "Just One Of The Guys." Well, not really... it was indie darling Jenny Lewis, who showed up on the NBC late night program in all her pastel glory to perform her lead single from The Voyager.
Armed with her Rainbow Art painted guitar, and a white jumpsuit with some My Little Pony/Lisa Frank inspired pastel colored designs, Lewis gave a straightforward performance of the country-infused indie rock anthem, lamenting her lack of ability to fit in with all the men in the world, no matter how hard she tries.
Despite the song's yearning message, Lewis was all smiles during her take on "Just One Of The Guys," swaying back and forth to the beat of the drums. Even during the song's most lyrically poignant moment, where she sings "There's only one difference between you and me / When I look at myself all I can see / I'm just another lady without a baby," there was a notable curve to her lips.
Perhaps the smile came from the crossdressing women who joined her onstage at the end, wearing some ADIDAS tracksuits just like Kristen Stewart, Anne Hathaway and Brie Larson did in the track's music video.
