  • HAIM Hosts Benefit Concert: Jenny Lewis Performs New Song "Girl on Girl" [WATCH]

To commemorate the life of a late friend, Sammi Kane Kraft, Haim generated Sam Jam, a benefit concert in which all proceeds were given to the Our House Grief Support Center. Friends and family of the four-piece band joined them on stage to show support, such as Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear, Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend and Jenny Lewis. The Troubadour in Los Angeles hosted the charity concert for the close companion of Haim, who was tragically killed at just 20 years old by a drunk driver in 2012. • Ryan Adams and Natalie Prass Do a 'Dirty Dancing' Cover

Count me among those who worship at the altar of indie rocker Ryan Adams. He is quite simply one of the best when it comes to doing an amazing cover of classic songs. From Oasis's "Wonderwall" to Alice in Chains's "Down in a Hole" and so many in between, he never fails to impress. During a live show Tuesday, March 3, in Cork, Ireland, Adams and opening act Natalie Prass took on a classic from the soundtrack to 1980s classic 'Dirty Dancing.' No, it wasn't "(I've Had) the Time of My Life," as you might expect, but instead leading man Patrick Swayze's song "She's Like the Wind." It was everything you could have hoped for and more.

Some welcome surprises were Adams doing "When Summer Ends" from 2014's "1984" EP and Lewis digging into Rilo Kiley's "Silver Lining," "Consequence of Sound" noted.
  • Ryan Adams Performs Dark, Acoustic Version of 'Gimme Something Good' with Don Was on 'The Late Late Show' [WATCH]

Judd Apatow hosted "The Late Late Show" last night (Jan. 23) during this brief period of guest hosts before James Corden officially takes over for Craig Ferguson. Musical guest Ryan Adams performed the lead single, "Gimme Something Good," from his new, self-titled effort with producer/musician Don Was on bass. The singer stripped down the tune, creating a dark, emotional atmosphere. The performance was powerful, especially considering the fact that he just split from his wife of nearly six years, Mandy Moore.
