French Montana, Wale and Fabolous may have paid tribute to the likes of Mary J. Blige, Kelly Rowland and Aretha Franklin in their new collaborative single "R&B B----es," but no female singers are to be seen in the newly released music video. Today (July 29), the three rappers released the official visual for the lady celebrating hit, and it features little but typical rap tropes.
There are models aplenty, with Montana rapping on a yacht, Fabolous rolling around on a bed with money and models and Wale smoking something funky looking, also while watching models.
Seems like a sort of depressing, lavish and very dirty party, but it is all about "f---ing R&B b----es" in your dreams, after all.
None of the song's title ladies, which also include the likes of Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Brandy and Christina Aguilera make an appearance in the music video, but at the very beginning there's a chick who looks astonishly like Ashanti while the rappers list off her name, so it very well could be her. (What else is she up to, am I right?)
Overall, it's a generic rap video for a pretty generic rap song, but what else could you expect? Nothing but models, money and wine... that's the gangsta life.
