Lloyd Webber will be presenting full-length recordings of his productions on a week-to-week basis for Broadway and West End fans. The show will be available online for 48 hours.

Headlining the series, named "The Shows Must Go On," is the 2000 adaptation of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," starring Donny Osmond as Joseph. The rest of the main cast are Maria Friedman as the Narrator, Richard Attenborough as Jacob, and Joan Collins as Potiphar's Wife.

The following week on April 10, the 2012 production "Jesus Christ Superstar" will be streamed. The ensemble cast of the musical includes Ben Forster as Jesus, Tony nominee Tim Minchin as Judas, Spice Girl Melanie C. as Mary Magdalene, and Chris Moyles as King Herod.

Succeeding shows are to be announced in due course. The re-broadcast of the musicals are made possible through Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group's permission.

"The Shows Must Go On" will also be featuring recordings of famous performances and behind-the-scenes videos. The additional treat will be uploaded regularly.

With the free online shows, the viewers are encouraged to support different organizations through donations, in light of the coronavirus crisis. Beneficiaries include Acting for Others, Broadway Cares and Actors Benevolent Fund.

A new adaptation of "Cinderella" is the newest show of Andrew Lloyd Webber. The world premiere is set in October at the Gillian Lynne Theater in London. Last week, tickets have been sold in advance.

The multi-awardee English composer remains in touch with his viewers on Twitter in the period of quarantine. He plays on the piano while taking requests for songs.

Other famous musical acts Lloyd Webber has created are Cats (1994), Evita (1996), Phantom of the Opera (2004), and School of Rock (1995). Some of his famous compositions have been successful outside the musical, such as "I Don't Know How to Love Him" from Jesus Christ Superstar, "The Music of the Night" and "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera, "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina" from Evita and "Memory" from Cats.
