Singer-songwriter and actress Sara Bareilles recovered from COVID-19 according to their Instagram Live Video.
There are no specifics given about how she contracted the viruse, but she confims, "I'm fully recovered, just so you know." She added she is thinking about everyone who is "walking through this really tricky time and sending a lot of love."
Bareilles added that she is now spending her days being grateful for her recovery. She did the video while walking on the streets of New York City.
As of writing, the U.S. has over 300,000 confirmed cases, over 10,000 deaths, and overl 19,000 recovered. New York alone records over 100,000 cases, and over 4,000 deaths.
Other stars found to have been infected are and are now recovering include Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Aaron Tveit, Daniel Dae Kim, Chris Cuomo, Andy Cohen and Idris Elba.
About Bareilles
Bareilles was born, December 7, 1979 in Eureka, California. She is the daughter of Paul and Bonnie Bareilles and is the youngest of three girls. According to a biography in her website, she had to change schools due to bullying because of her weight issues.
Despite her stance, Bareilles developed a superb passion for music and theater. She performed in choirs and played Audrey in a high school theater play. She studied communications at the University of California, Los Angeles. In UCLA, she found her singing voice when she became a member of an a cappella group.
