The fourth studio album, "Map of The Soul: 7," from the biggest South Korean boy band BTS, continues to be a strong force in the music charts. Up from last week by nine notches in the Billboard 200, it has landed on number 28 in the week of April 25. Not to be outdone are the individual sales from several of the tracks in the bestselling LP.

Launched on February 21, the album has steadily remained for eight weeks on the board. For this year, the highly anticipated album "Map of The Soul: 7" holds the largest sales week from the time it was released with a whopping 422,000 equivalent album sales.

The single "On," one of the 19 tracks in the album, gave the Bangtan Boys its first Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It peaked at number 4 in the first week of March. The other seemingly favorite and in-demand tracks are inching their way up on the charts as well.

On Billboard's World Digital Song Sales Chart, two other tracks are steadily ascending their way up. A solo song titled "My Time," from the youngest member Jungkook, surged up to No. 3 (from last week's position at No. 10). Bangtan Boy Jimin's upbeat "Filter," entered Top 10 at No. 7 (up from No. 11) in the chart dated April 25, 2020. This is the second consecutive week where an album track from "Map of the Soul: 7" outsold its singles. Both of these songs contributed to an additional 1,000 sold copies this week, based on the information from Nielsen Music/ MRC Data.

On the album's premiere week, both of these tracks made their presence felt early on at Billboard Hot 100 chart, thanks to the BTS' ARMY fans. "My Time" debuted at No. 84 while "Filter" followed close behind at No. 87. In the U.S, 24,000 total sold copies have been accounted for "My Time." "Filter" on the other hand, sold 2,000 less totaling to 22,000 sales.

Another track, "UGH," performed by three rappers JM, Suga, and J-Hope earlier landed on No. 2 on the World's Digital Sales Song Chart last week dated April 18, 2020. "UGH" surpassed sales for both the singles "Black Swan" and "On."

The performance of the three tracks is doing well and hitting the charts on their own even without the Bangtan Boys promoting them. There are no music videos as well credited to the chart-hitting songs. "Filter," "UGH," and "My Time" are all lingering on the World's Digital Sales Song Chart for seven weeks straight. Highly publicized "On" with two music videos have stayed for eight weeks on the board. The first single out from their latest album, "Black Swan" remained at the chart for 12 weeks which was released on January 17.

Due to the very strong presence and support of the Bangtan Boys' fandom, the ARMY can literally push up popularity of their music. An April Fool's Day prank catapulted songs to the chart from BTS' debut single album "2 Cool 4 Skool" released in June 2013. The album itself ranked at No. 12 on Billboard's World's Album chart seven years after it was launched.
