As The Masked Singer's season 5 came to a close, contest runner-up Jojo shared how the show impacted her life as a singer and celebrity.

The 'Too Little Too Late' songstress revealed that the show has helped get her creative juices and mojo back in an interview.

Getting Her Mojo Back

"I don't think it compares to anything I've ever done. But if anything, it connected me to that little girl inside me that just loves music more than anything-that pure joy when I sing. And it reminded me of that, above all else. It helped me get my mojo back," she shared.

The songstress further poured out her emotions on her Instagram, emphasizing the ups and downs in her career and how the show helped her overcome her stage fright.

In the first part of her post, she mentioned the setbacks she had experienced during the pandemic and how the canceled tour in 2020 affected her mental and physical well-being.

"It feel like I'm choking. I knew I had to do something about this feeling.& I wanted to stop taking myself so seriously," the singer shared.

"I didn't say yes to this show to win it-saying yes to the show was truly the win I needed. If it weren't for this experience, I may not have shaken from my funk & been able to make new music. But now I feel invigorated & light moving forward. Connected with my gift & my love for music once again," she further shared.

JoJo, with a net worth of $7 million, joins other season 5 finalists 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey donned as Piglet and Wiz Khalifa, aka Chameleon. This year's judges are returnee judges: Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger, who have stayed in the show since its debut in 2019.

Recent Updates

Meanwhile, the 30-year old singer dropped a new song, 'Creature of Habit,' this week. One can see a snippet of it on Instagram. Rollingstone reckoned that the track would also be on the hit maker's sixth studio album. 'Creature of Habit' music video is set to release at 1 PM EST.

Previously, the Leave It Out singer is scheduled to embark on a tour for 2021 but canceled plans following Covid-19 restrictions. She wrote an announcement about it in January this year, stating that ticket holders can claim a full refund. She also dropped announcements regarding her new tour and a new album slated to come out next year.

Joanna 'JoJo' Levesque has started her singer career at 13 and had topped the Billboards with her debut single, 'Leave (Get Out).' JoJo was the youngest solo artist to have hit the Number 1 spot on the charts when it premiered. Her second album was also a hit. However, she took a hiatus after that, leaving her fans clueless about what happened to her. She faced several issues in her personal life and career, including having a terrible record contract, losing a parent, and getting embroiled in a significant lawsuit.
