The commercial success of 'Harry Styles'

The former One Direction member, now solo artist, released "Harry Styles", his debut album, last May 2017 through Colombia Records and Erskine Records.

Because of its cultural and commercial success, it landed the Billboard's No. 10 spot at the "50 Best Album of 2017", as "Sign of The Times" placed #428 on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" last 2021.

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry also regarded "Harry Styles" as the ninth global best-selling album of 2017, with a whopping one million copies sold worldwide.

"Harry Styles" also peaked No. 1 for a week at the US Billboards 200 albums chart last June 2017 and debuted No. 1 on the Official UK Albums chart.

Weeks before the debut album was dropped, Styles announced "Harry Styles: On Tour" held worldwide from the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Billboard reports that tickets for the 2017 shows sold out in seconds across 29 markets. The Philippines' pre-selling of tickets at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila broke British Band Coldplay's record of six minutes by selling out in only 52 seconds.
