Petittion Faked? Travis Scott Fans Did THIS Shocking Thing To Get Rapper On Coachella 2023

The petition to which fans rallied to get Travis in the lineup is too good to be true.

Days ago, the campaign petition for Travis Scott to headline Coachella 2023 was rallied by his loyal fans.

It was reported that the petition collected over 70,000 signatures at change.org.

The rappers' adamant fans created the petition on Sunday with the intention for Travis Scott to be brought back to the lineup or just being featured by Kanye West.

Scott, the forefront of the catastrophic Astroworld festival, was removed from the Coachella 2022 Valley Music and Arts Festival because of the ongoing investigations on Astroworld.

This decision dismayed loyal fans of the rapper that they virtually protested to have Scott be included on the 2023 lineup instead, thus, the petition.

What happened with the petition?

Amassing more than 70,000 signatures in just a matter of days, the signature count spiraled down yesterday, and it left fans confused.

Scott's supporters were grappling for an explanation as to why almost 90% of the signatures were gone.

Buzzfeed then reported that they reached out to change.org and found out that more than 60,000 signatures were removed from the petition.

The Change.org representative revealed that their software engineers have detected "fraudulent activtity" on the petitions.

As a result, they have removed the bulk of the signatures involved on the fraudulent activity patterns, leaving only at least 5,000.

Aside from removing signatures, it seemed like the petition was nowhere to be found on the website. As of writing, it remains unknown whether the website or petition creator made a move to delete the petition entirely.

Ye with Scott?

Despite the failed campaign, the other route that fans are taking is that Scott will be Ye's surprise guest at the 3-day festival.

Aside from their respective genres and ethnicity, Travis Scott and Kanye West, now legally called Ye, are also related by their relationships to Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars.

Travis Scott is expecting his second child with Kylie Jenner, whom he has seen since 2017.

On the other hand, Ye is now in a very complicated relationship with estranged wife Kim Kardashian, Kylie's half sister.

That is why Scott's cameo appearance at Ye's performance is highly likely, also given their relatively close friendship, which was shown when Scott gave the address to Ye's daughter Chicago's birthday party.
