Doja Cat continues to break more historical records from her music.

Just released last June 2021, Planet Her is Doja Cat's third studio album.

The album has yielded four singles: "Kiss Me More," which features SZA, "You Right," which features The Weeknd, "Need to Know," and "Woman." "Kiss Me More" is the first song from the album.

Three of the band's first singles debuted in the Top 15 of the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart.

Recently, Planet Her broke records as it has spent half a year in the Billboard 200's Top 10.

The feat is reportedly the first album by a female rapper to have spent that amount of time in that chart.

Planet Her is now ranked as the tenth best-selling album on the Billboard 200.

The last tracking period showed that Doja Cat's third studio album sold an additional 32,000 equivalent album units compared to the previous one.

Planet Her reached its highest point in the chart in July 2021, when it was ranked #2. The album held that rank for a total of four non-consecutive weeks.

This week, Planet Her has sold over 1.5 million pieces worldwide.

Doja Cat secured guest appearances on Planet Her from artists such as Young Thug, Ariana Grande, JID, The Weeknd, and SZA. Eve and Gunna are even included in the deluxe edition of the album.

Other successes of Planet Her

Planet Her was nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year.

Doja Cat has received a total of seven Grammy nominations for the upcoming 64th Annual Grammy Awards.

Adding to the success of Planet Her, Doja Cat recently debuted a new music video for the Nicki Minaj-influenced Planet Her tune "Get Into It (Yuh)" last night.

In addition, the song "Kiss Me More," which features SZA, has been inducted into the One Billion Club on Spotify.

Doja breaking records

Breaking records is not a new feat for Doja Cat, as she had also sealed a Guinness Book of World Record Spot with Nicki Minaj for their collab "Say So".

Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat are the first Female Rap Duo to hit No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

This was a significant achievement since it was the first time a female rap duo had ruled the countdown, and "Say So" was also the first US No.1 single for both hit-makers.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, no other artist had gathered as many hits on the US Singles Chart before achieving the top spot, and this will remain the case until May 16, 2020.
