Good news for Lizzo's fans! It seems like the "Good As Hell" hitmaker is set to release new music this year as she recently teased fans with a video on her social media account; however, there seems to be a problem.
The 33-year-old star recently took to her Instagram story to tease fans with new music. The "Rumors" songstress can be seen working inside a recording studio with two of the biggest producers in the industry, Max Martin and Benny Blanco.
Blanco is popularly known for his contribution to some of the most prominent 2010s hits, such as Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger," Taio Cruz's "Dynamite" and many more. (watch the video below)
On the other hand, Martin has previously co-written songs for NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and Britney Spears.
Despite Lizzo's tease video, the singer kept the video low-key as there was no background music, which appeared to be muted.
However, Billboard noted that the Grammy-winning artist's foot could be seen tapping at around 140 beats per minute, meaning the yet-to-be-announced song is upbeat.
At the time of this writing, the singer has not publicly announced when she will release her next single or album.
Fans immediately expressed their excitement online as they reacted to the video.
One fan noted that the abovementioned producers are an immense contribution to Lizzo's upcoming song, writing, "Benny & Max are literally the titans of pop producers. Many hits are coming from this, I can tell."
"Y'all!!! Y'all!!! Lizzo posted an instagram story today with Max Martin and Benny Blanco!!!! Sis is coming!!!" another one wrote.
According to the outlet, Lizzo has not released new music since her last single titled "Rumors" in collaboration with Cardi B.
The track was a massive success as it amassed millions of streams on different platforms as well as debuted number one on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop songs chart.
This is not the first time Lizzo teased her fans this month as she also shared a video of herself naked with audio in the background, singing the lyrics, "If you love me, you love all of me, or none of me at all."
She also shared a naked picture of her afterward with the caption "Art."
