On some rare occasions, musicians and singers are invited to The White House for specific reasons: either the President needs them for a particular cause or something that concerns national security.
But for siblings FINNEAS and Billie Eilish, POTUS just seemed to want to catch up with them.
Usually, US President Joe Biden is busy meeting world leaders, diplomats, and lawmakers. Yesterday, he met with pop music chart-toppers Billie Eilish and her brother FINNEAS.
The Grammy-winning duo was called into the Oval Office to catch up with POTUS.
In an Instagram post of the POTUS, President Biden seemed to be thrilled meeting the duo as they were meeting Commander, the newest addition to the Biden first family.
Why are the two in DC?
Eilish paid a visit to the nation's capital on February 9 for a concert at Capital One Arena, one of the first stops of her "Happier Than Ever, The World" Tour, which is now underway.
The North American leg of the tour will run until April 9, with the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer wrapping things up with three nights in Los Angeles.
Billie will perform at Coachella in Indio, California, following her appearances in Los Angeles for two weekends.
In June, she will embark on a month-long Europe and the United Kingdom tour before heading to Australia and New Zealand in September.
Eilish's tour supports her sophomore album "Happier Than Ever", which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart after its release in July 2021 and spent numerous weeks at the top of the chart.
Aside from her chart-topping album, "Happier Than Ever" is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, with four more at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards in April.
Billie might also be taking home an Oscar as she is nominated for Best Original Song for her "No Time to Die" work at James bond flick of the same title.
But before the trip to Pennsylvania Avenue, Billie took over headlines last week as she did something on her first show in Atlanta.
Billie Shades Travis?
The 20-year old pop star earned the respect of her fans after doing the responsible thing to do at her recent concert in Atlanta.
In the middle of a performance, Billie stopped after seeing one of her fans getting crushed in the crowd.
Billie instructed her team whether they had an inhaler on hand, and she directed stage staff members to assist the concertgoer out of the crowd as soon as she became aware of her condition.
In the video, Billie seemingly aimed at Travis Scott following the rapper's fatal Astroworld Festival in November.

"I wait for people to be okay before I keep going," Billie retorted, erupting cheers from the crowd.
