Miley Cyrus got candid in front of her fans during the Super Bowl Music Festival.
Cyrus joined a slew of performers and singers during this year's Bud Light Super Bowl Music Festival. Halsey and Machine Gun Kelly served as the headliners of the most-awaited event's night one, while Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani teamed up during its second night.
On the third day of the event, Green Day joined Cyrus on stage and made the crowd bang their heads.
Though the 29-year-old singer has been part of the industry for a decade, her one year of absence reportedly made her feel scared.
The "When I Look At You" singer told the over 15,000 fans that she did not feel the same this time. She also told them she was finding her feet in the platform once again.
"I know that all of us are going through that same experience, just trying to integrate back into a reality that was moving so fast, so naturally. And now, something that should just be like breathing is suddenly difficult and anxiety-inducing and scary," she said, as quoted by Rolling Stone.
Cyrus, despite that, let them know that she is as scared as everybody, and the good news is that they are not alone.
Miley Cyrus Hyped Fans
The singer fought her fears and performed smoothly through the night. She performed a full setlist of songs for the Super Bowl Event, gracing the stage with her hit music.
Cyrus also blessed the crowd with "Never Be Me," a song from her 2020 album "Plastic Hearts."
"I hope this show is a representation of how you never need to choose who you want to be. You can be everything and anything," she said. "You may look ridiculous, like you're wearing workout attire from 3033 and a cowboy hat. It's just how I feel tonight."
Her Bud Light-sponsored concert was only one of the several events launched for the Super Bowl. Aside from the "Hannah Montana" star, several A-listers also performed in front of the crowd.
Saweetie and Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey Saturday offered a pre-game brunch to mark the release of her new song, "Closer." Chainsmokers also came back with their new single, "High."
