Aside from the Super Bowl headlines last week, the Kanye West - Kim Kardashian - Pete Davidson - Julia Fox fiasco rounded up every news cycle there is.
Adding to the long list of people involved, Billie Eilish, Travis Scott, and Kid Cudi are now on the mix.
The beef with Cudi
Last week, Ye announced on his Instagram account that he is removing Kid Cudi from his "DONDA 2" album because of his friendship with his estranged wife Kim Kardashian's boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
After the announcement, the two have sparked headlines which set Kid Cudi in a bad light.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Ye wrote in a notebook that "Just so everyone knows, Cudi will not be on DONDA because he's friends with you know who we all speak in Billie language now."
"You know who" refers to Pete Davidson, who Kid Cudi is friends with, while "Billie language" refers to Billie Eilish, who was also in the mix-up because Ye accused her of "dissing" Travis Scott, in a concert wherein he shaded the Astroworld rapper.
Cudi responded on Ye's post, unbothered by the "DONDA" maker's threat.
"Too bad I dont wanna be on ur album u fuckin dinosaur hahaha," he replied, "everyone knows ive been the best thing about ur albums since i met u. Ima pray u for brother."
In a separate tweet, the 38-year old Ohio rapper took a swipe on Ye, revealing that they had initially talked about the matter already.
Although not meeting, the two were spotted watching the Super Bowl last week. Paparazzi, however, had the chance to talk to Cudi.
Encounter with the paparazzo
In the heat of their online beef, a paparazzo was fortunate to spot the "Mr. Roger" hitmaker, his girlfriend, and their security when leaving the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, after watching the NFL Super Bowl.
Asked if he has any words for Ye, Kid Cudi lunges forward the cameraman enraged with the meddling.
Good thing that the rapper's security got a hold on the rapper before the altercation even escalated.
It is not the first time Kid Cudi and Kanye West have fought. Cudi accused Kanye of "underusing" him on Yeezus's "Guilt Trip" and G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer collection after he left the label in 2013.
After ten years of working together on the game-changing 808s & Heartbreak, the duo publicly hugged it out on stage and revived their creative connection with 2018's "Kids See Ghosts".
They most recently collaborated on "Moon," a song from last year's "DONDA".
