After almost fifteen years in the industry, Frank Turner reached a brand new feat in his music career, the one he has been eyeing for a very long time already.
Most commonly known only as Frank Turner, Francis Edward Turner finally bagged his first No. 1 album on the OCC UK Charts.
The punk and folk singer's victorious chart peak amounted to almost 90% physical sales of his ninth studio album, "FTHC."

As reported by the Official Charts Company, Frank Turner also topped the Vinyl Albums chart as he was also UK Independent Record Store's best-seller this week.
Joining the music scene in 2001 with London post-hardcore band Million Dead, Turner proceeded to pursue the industry in his solo career in 2007.
He has produced nine studio albums, with "FTHC" being the ninth, released in 2022. His previous eight albums have all managed to climb into the Top 75 of the charts, with her 2019 banger album "No Man's Land" peaking No. 3.
"FTHC," the abbreviated version of "Frank Turner Hardcore," Turner explained his glee on receiving the momentous feat on the Official Charts Company.
"Getting a number one album is crazy, it's not a thing I ever thought would happen to me and it's happened on my ninth album," Turner elaborated.
Frank also took to Instagram to announce his achievement.
Revealing that his ninth album was made in "weird and trying circumstances," the punk-folk singer admitted that it felt like a "restatement of purpose" for him.
Hungry as he has ever been, Frank assured his fans that he would be as "fired up and inspired" entering his forties.
Although nowhere in the Top 100 Singles chart, "FTHC" bested other mainstays on the Top 100 Albums Chart.

Debuting at No. 1 in the Top 100 OCC Albums chart, Frank Turner's "FTHC" has dethroned Bastille's "Give Me The Future," who took a nose dive to No. 26.
Playing on the Top 4 spots and sitting at the charts for almost 16 weeks already, Ed Sheeran's newest mathematical album, "=" stayed at his No. 2 spot since last week.
Alt-J's "The Dream" debuted at No. 3, Adele's hit album "30" retaining at No. 4, and Slash's "5" and James Morrison's "Greatest Hits" debuting at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, respectively.
Olivia Rodrigo's Grammy-nominated "SOUR" is climbing up again at No. 7, while Eminem's "Curtain Call" leaped to No. 8 after his performance at the recent Super Bowl LVI Halftime Performance.
