Fans go the extra mile for their favorite artists especially with new recordings and new collaborations. For The Weeknd, he recently dismissed rumors of a surfacing tracklist for "Dawn FM" - could this be true?
In a Tweet posted by Buzzing Pop, the photo shows a handwritten list of what seemed to be a tracklist for an unreleased version of The Weeknd's most recent album, "Dawn FM."
Tracks from what was purported to be Dawn FM's original list of tracks include "Euphoria" featuring Ariana Grande and Ty Dolla $ign. A Kali Uchis record titled "Eat My Heart." Other alleged tracks had "Don't Break My Heart," "Lost City," and "Angels."
Seeing the ambiguous list, Abel quickly responded.
"I love every single one of these artists, but this is beyond fake. XO," he tweets, bursting everyone's hope for a collaboration.
Dawn FM, which contains guest performances by Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, and Jim Carrey, has seen substantial success since its premiere on January 7.
Upon release, the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 all-genre list, where it remained for a total of eight weeks and counting.
His eighth studio album to enter the top 10 was released in the wake of his previous album, After Hours, which lasted a total of 80 weeks in the top 10.
In a GQ Interview, Abel Tesfaye, also known as the weekend gushed about wanting to produce this work of art: "The excitement to make the next project means that this one was successful to me. I want to do this forever. And even if I start getting into different mediums and different types of expressions, music will be right there. I'm not going to step away from it."
