On the same day her biopic documentary trailer was launched online, music icon Sheryl Crow now slated the release date of the film's accompanying album.

The Showtime Original documentary premiered yesterday at the SXSW festival ahead of its original broadcast on Showtime on May 6.

Chronicling her battle with sexism, ageism, depression, and cancer, "Sheryl" discussed how the 60-year-old rock legend made her way to success and how, in the process, broke her.

Directed by Critic's Choice Nominee Amy Scott, "Sheryl" is recounted through interviews with the multi-platinum artist and some never before seen footages of her successful music career.

Sheryl: Music From The Feature Documentary

UME/Big Machine Records announced that "Sheryl: Music From The Feature Documentary," is slated to launch on the same day the documentary will premiere on May 6, 2022, on Showtime.

The album, which will be available digitally and on 2CD, will include some of Crow's greatest songs, including "All I Want to Do," "If It Makes You Happy," "A Change Would Do You Good," "My Favorite Mistake," "Strong Enough," among many others.

Aside from three new music and her greatest hits, "Sheryl: Music From The Feature Documentary" will also feature massive collaborations from other music legends.

The likes of Sting, Stevie Nicks, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, and even the late Johnny Cash will be featured on her upcoming album, a source reports.

Avid fans of Sheryl Crow can pre-order the companion album, which they can stream via Apple Music, iTunes Store, or Amazon Music. The tracklist for the two-CD album can be seen here.

The illustrious career of Sheryl Crow

The upcoming documentary of the pop-rock legend came on the heels of her 35th anniversary in the music industry.

Crow's career has been notable, from starting as a backup vocalist for Pop King Michael Jackson on his "Bad" tour in the late 80s to selling 50 million albums worldwide.

"I am excited for the premiere of my documentary. I hope people will find strength and courage through my story. It was a journey through years and years of incredible memories," the Grammy-winning artist said.

Sheryl's influence transcends generations as she has inspired a new breed of artists, including Phoebe Bridgers, H.E.R, Haim, Maren Morris, Lorde, Sasami, Best Coast, and Brandi Carlile.

Crow played several of her best-loved songs during the webcast "Sheryl Crow: The Songs And The Stories - A Live Solo Performance," which took place in her Nashville estate in June of last year.
