Jack Harlow is on a roll and is not stopping soon. From the release of his new single "Nail Tech," to getting a feature on Kanye West's "DONDA 2," the rapper is dropped some major news to his avid fans.
Coinciding with the release of his Rolling Stone's new cover, Jack Harlow also announced the release date of his upcoming new album.
Jack Harlow's Upcoming New Album
"Come Home the Kids Miss You," is the 24 years old rapper's sequel to his 2020 hit album "Thats What They All Say."
The album will be released on May 6, 2022, via Generation Now and Atlantic Records.
The project will feature his lead single, "Nail Tech," which peaked at Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at No. 4.
Opening up to Variety last November, the "Industry Baby" hitmaker talked about how he wanted his songs to speak to his fans.
Harlow described his songs to be "very intimate" as he says that "a lot of [his] fans" felt like they were having a conversation with him.
"I love that and don't ever want to lose it, but there's a certain feeling, when I'm performing, that some songs are hitting the back wall of the room instead of the first five rows, and I'm excited to have more of that," Jack elaborated.
Wanting to show a more "commanding tone," the budding rapper confidently took the role of acting as a producer for his upcoming project as he wanted his music to "connect out there."
Although "Nail Tech" is his lead single for the album, Jack strayed from the usual and described the track as his "least favorite" song in the album.
On the same Rolling Stone cover feature, Harlow title-dropped "Blade Grass," another song that fans can expect on the upcoming album.
Jack Harlow Headlines Summer Music Festivals
The rapper's release on May 6 is befitting as he would be jumping from one music festival to another all summer.
Very recently, Jack Harlow will headline the Life Is Beautiful Festival in Downtown Las Vegas on September 16-18, 2022, with Lorde, Arctic Monkeys, KYGO, and Calvin Harris.
He is also sharing the same stage with Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Post Malone, Tame Impala, and Phoebe Bridgers for the Hangout Fest in the Gulf Beaches in Alabama in May 20-22, 2022.
Jack is also included on the lineup for this year's Governor's Ball on June 10-12, 2022, in New York City, Halsey, Kid Cudi, J. Cole, and Playboi Carti.
