Matteo Bocelli, Andrea Bocelli's son, debuted on an Italian television broadcast with a stunning performance of his new single "Dimmi."
Matteo Bocelli has started releasing tracks as he prepares to release his debut solo album later this year. He began with the aptly titled "Solo," followed by "Close" and now two versions of "Dime/Dimmi." The first was in Spanish, and the second in his native Italian, which the 24-year-old has now performed on national television in his home country.
Matteo posted an Instagram video of himself performing "Dimmi," complete with a sly smile at the camera.
Andrea Bocelli's son captioned the video from Rai 1 HD, "Today at #domenicain with Zia @mara venier for my first ever Italian TV show on my own. Thank you for this opportunity, I hope you enjoyed Dimmi too!"
It's unclear when his whole solo album will be published, but it will undoubtedly arrive in 2022.
As the situation appears to be reestablishing normalcy and travel restrictions throughout the world begin to ease, artists can once again travel across borders and collaborate on intriguing projects.

One such collaboration is already underway, as Pinkvilla has learned that Matteo Bocelli, the son of famed Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, would soon visit India for a special music collaboration with singer pair Sukriti and Prakriti Kakar. A well-known record company was important in bringing them together for this endeavor.
"Matteo is expected to arrive in India this month, and is extremely excited for his maiden visit to the country. He has always been fascinated by Indian music and has been eager to work with Indian artists. Matteo as well as the Kakar sisters have huge respect for each other's work and are eager to collaborate on the song. Needless to say, the single will be a classic east meets west collaborative effort and will embrace a lot of futuristic and experimental fusion soundscapes," informs an insider.
Matteo is also slated to meet a few Bollywood celebrities during his tour. In December, the singer-songwriter performed in the White House alongside his father Andrea Bocelli, Camilla Cabello, and the Jonas Brothers, among others. The song 'Fall on Me' by Andrea Bocelli and Matteo Bocelli was featured in the end credits of Disney's 2018 fantasy-adventure film ""The Nutcracker and the Four Realms."
