Michelle Branch Resurfaces Online to Defend Herself Against Shocking Criticism

Michelle Branch revealed how another mother publicly chastised her for breastfeeding her newborn baby Willie in a park, and her supporters rallied to her defense! The singer, has been relatively quiet on social media, but returned to defend herself.

Michelle Branch, like many parents, had to cope with unwanted judgment on top of being a new mom. The singer-songwriter described how another mother publicly chastised her for breastfeeding in public - right in front of her! The mother of three rushed to Twitter to scream about the awkward encounter.

"I just got shamed by another mother (who was holding her own young infant!) for nursing my 6 week old baby on a bench at a playground while my toddler was playing," she wrote. She said I wasn't 'being modest' I am in shock that this kind of judgement was coming from a fellow mom!"

Subsequently, Michelle received an outpouring of support from her supporters and Twitter users who believed the other mother was being harsh.

Michelle gave birth to her first child, Willie, on February 2, 2022. She shared an Instagram photo of her healthy newborn girl with admirers to commemorate the occasion.

Willie was resting in the beautiful snap, wearing a bow wrap on her head and swaddled in a floral-print blanket with ducks. Two of her little, endearing fingers poked out from the top of the blanket, and the infant appeared to be as serene as can be.

"Welcome to the world, sweet Willie girl," she captioned the post. "Willie Jacquet Carney was born on 2/2/22. She's named after Patrick's grandmother Willie Madge and has my mother's maiden name/my middle name. We're so in love."

The sweet child is said to be the 90s singer's rainbow baby as she had previously suffered a miscarriage in December 2020. She announced that she had gotten pregnant again in August and finally, she now has a healthy baby to love.

She and her husband Patrick Carney share little Willie. Additionally, the couple has a three-year-old son named Rhys. They were still engaged when they announced Michelle's pregnancy with Rhys in February 2018. The two married in April 2019, just over a year after Rhys was born. Michelle also shares a 16-year-old son, Owen, with her ex-husband Teddy Landau.
