After announcing the release date of his third album, Grammy-winner Harry Styles recently dropped details of the project's possible lead single.

Harry Styles' New Song 'As It Was'

Taking to his 43.3 million Instagram followers, the former One Direction member announced hours ago that his new song "As It Was," will be released on Friday, April 1, 2022.

Donning what seemed to be a red bedazzled tank top, the 28-year-old "Sign of the Times" singer faces a concrete hallway in a three photo carousel while flexing his tattooed arms and matching red nail polish.

The announcement came on the heels of Styles' announcement last week of the upcoming album's title, release date, and cover art.

Harry Styles' New Album

"Harry's House," Style's third album, is set to drop on May 20, 2022.

Produced by Erksine Records and Columbia, the next project is rumored to feature thirteen tracks, one track more than its Grammy-nominated prequel, "Fine Line."

MusiCares 2022 Person of the Year Joni Mitchell tweeted about Styles' upcoming album, noting how she "love the title."

Harry's new album shares the same title with the country legend's 1975 hit "Harry's House / Centerpiece."

The album's "homey" cover art comes along with a 40 second Youtube teaser where Styles is seen standing on a stage with a home facade rising through him.

The teaser and the album art confirmed eagle-eyed fans' theory over the cryptic hints that the singer has posted on social media previously.

'You Are Home' Teasers Led To 'Harry's Home'

Last week, Billboard reported how avid fans of the "Watermelon Sugar" hitmaker had connected the dots of what is now confirmed hints of his new album.

First, fans saw that Styles was following social media accounts named "You Are Home," which led them to a cryptic website with a beige door.

Upon clicking the door, visitors are revealed to a different background every day since March 19, 2022, which fans believe to be the theme or concept behind the singer's upcoming album.

At the time when Harry announced the details of his album, the singer's photo on the album was then behind the clickable door at the You Are Home website.

Details about the lead single and the album are expected to drop in the coming days; Styles is expected to perform his new music at the upcoming Coachella festival on April 15, where he will be headlining along with Billie Eilish, Swedish House Mafia, and an unconfirmed Kanye West.
