Despite being reportedly barred from the Grammys because of his unpleasing social media behavior earlier this year, fans may see Kanye West at the MGM Grand Garden Arena after all.

With the final list of Grammy performers released yesterday, some sources revealed that there is probably one more spot left for another big-hit performer.

One More Grammys 2022 Performance

Hits Daily Double reported that sources from the Recording Academy said that the public should expect at least one more performer on the Grammys telecast on Apr. 3, 2022.

Per the website, there are ongoing conversations with chart-toppers like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Kanye West.

The current roster of performers packs a hefty list of music A-listers such as Grammy nominees Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow, Brothers Osborne, BTS, and Brandie Carlile, among many others.

Cynthia Erivo, Leslie Odom Jr., Ben Platt, Rachel Zegler, Nas, Jon Batiste, H.E.R., Chris Stapleton are also set to perform this coming Sunday.

The latest performers were announced yesterday, including Carrie Underwood, Johnny Strings, John Legend, Silk Sonic, Aymée Nuviola, Billy Strings, J Balvin, and María Becerra.

Will Kanye Perform Despite Being Barred?

The rumors came weeks after Ye, frequently known as Kanye West, was barred from performing at the Awards Ceremony because of his "concerning online behavior."

Ye's representative confirmed Blast's rumor to Variety after the former reported that the rapper's camp received a call informing them of the "unfortunate" removal.

The removal is reportedly attributed to Kanye's recent actions towards estranged wife Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson, and Grammy Host Trevor Noah, where the former had said some racial slurs on the Comedy Central Host.

Kanye is nominated for five Grammy Awards this year, including Best Rap Song for "Jail," Best Melodic Rap Performance for "Hurricane," Best Rap Album for "DONDA," and two Album of the Year nods for "DONDA" and Nas X's "Montero" as a co-producer.

The rapper's last performance at the Grammys was in 2015, where he performed alongside Paul McCartney and Rihanna.

Fans of the "DONDA" rapper have yet to await the confirmation of the Recording Academy on who they will enlist as the final performer of Music's Biggest Night.
