Taylor Swift double downs on why she is such a fan of Phoebe Bridgers, describing her music as "deeply impactful."
It is undeniable that Taylor Swift's influence in music is now evident in the rising pop stars, singer-songwriters, and musicians on the scene right now.
What better example there are than GRAMMY-Winning Best New Artist Olivia Rodrigo and GRAMMY-Nominee Phoebe Bridgers.
In a recent interview, Taylor Swift elaborated on Phoebe Bridger's songwriting skills, an asset many consider one of Swift's strongest suits.
Taylor Swift on Phoebe Bridgers Music
"All To Well" hitmaker Taylor Swift was asked about Phoebe Bridgers on a recent Los Angeles Times profile for the "Savior Complex" singer.
Per Swift, it was the "specificity of Phoebe's lyrics" and the "vulnerability she expresses in her voice when she delivers them" that makes her music "deeply impactful and moving for me as a fan."
"You feel like she's reliving a precise memory or delivering a secret message to someone and you get the privilege to read it or hear about it. Her phrasing is very conversational, which turns her storytelling into something tremendously intimate, fragile and real," Swift ended her email to the publication.
The two have formerly collaborated on Taylor Swift's most recent reclaimed album "Red (Taylor's Version)" on "Nothing New."

Last year, Taylor Swift re-recorded her second reclaimed album, her 2012 hit album "Red."
The new version gave birth to the smash hit "All Too Well," which was accompanied by a 10-minute version of Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien's Taylor Swift-produced film.
Aside from that, Swift has collaborated with Bridgers over a folk ballad that remained in the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" hitmakers' vault since last year.
Phoebe Bridgers provided vocals for "Nothing New" while the two worked independently. Bridgers recorded her part from Los Angeles' Sound City, while Swift had hers in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
While the two have not yet met in person, this is not the first time Swift has expressed her admiration for the 27-year old singer.
Taylor is a 'fan' of Phoebe Bridgers
In an interview with Seth Myers, Swift explained how her "Nothing New" collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers came to fruition.
Swift then revealed that Bridgers is "one of my favourite artists in the world. If she sings it, I will listen to it. I just love her voice."
The two also started becoming close when Taylor texted Bridgers on what the latter thought to be a text coming from The National's Aaron Dessner.
