Jack White might have had the most significant day in his life last Friday, as he made four massive moves in his career and personal life in the span of one day.
For those who forgot, Jack White was the lead singer and guitarist of the duo The White Stripes, the sixth greatest duo of all time per Rolling Stone.
White's Friday might be the biggest Friday he had for a long time because of the big checkboxes he had ticked off at night.
Jack White New Album 'Fear of the Dawn'
The 46-year old rocker started the day by releasing his fourth new studio album "Fear of the Dawn."
American Songwriter rated White's recent album with 4 1/2 out of 5 stars, noting that "the vibrant, caffeinated production and pulsating sonics help these performances explode with dollops of the frazzled charm, roaring intensity, and sheer musicality we expect from a Jack White project."
After doing so, White opened the Detroit Tigers season by singing the national anthem.
This is White's first time playing the anthem at Detroit's Comerica Park. He is also in the city as she would be performing a string of shows at Detroit's Masonic Temple.
Jack White Married Olivia Jean Onstage In Concert
Just when everyone thought Jack White already had a big day, he continued to go big as he popped a ring to propose onstage 80 minutes into his set.
White asked his fiancee Olivia Jean, a singer on his Third Man label who had served earlier in the evening as his concert's opening act, and surprised everyone with a marriage proposal in the middle of performing "Hotel Yorba."
"I've got a little question for you, Olivia Jean. Will you marry me?" White asked. Per Detroit Free Press, Jean "signaled a gushing yes, her face tear-streaked." The two finished the song, and White happily carried Jean offstage.
While fans thought it was the night's peak, the two returned to the stage for an encore and a whole wedding ceremony.
White's Mother and Jean's Father rushed to the stage mid-vows to witness the magical musical moment unfolding.
Ben Swank, the top man on the two's "Third Man" label, presided over the nuptials, while White's and Jean's bassists served as the best best man and maid of honor, respectively.
Jean is White's third wife to date as he married his White Stripes collaborator Meg White in 1996 and model Karen Elson in 2005.
