The Weeknd is preparing for one of the most important performances of his career at the Coachella music festival.

He and Swedish House Mafia will take over for Kanye West, who has dropped out from his headline position.

According to a Hollywood Life insider, despite the strain on the "Save Your Tears" hitmaker and just landing the spot at the last minute, he is "not stressed about Coachella."

"The fact that this is all being planned very much at the last minute isn't much of a worry," the source added, "and he's certain this will be pulled off without a hitch."

The "Blinding Lights" singer, actual name Abel Tesfaye, will take the stage on both Sundays of the event, April 17 and April 24.

Kanye's withdrawal two weeks before he was set to take the stage implies that The Weeknd's participation in the event was very last minute.

However, the insider pointed out that the four-time Grammy winner has been in circumstances like this before, when he had to make last-minute changes, so the "Donda" rapper filling in the last minute is nothing new.

"He's the sort of artist that is completely focused on his work and does not allow outside distractions to interfere in any way."

Furthermore, The Weeknd, who previously dated Bella Hadid, is characterized as having a very calm demeanor and is not the sort of guy who becomes frantic and anxious, according to the source.

He also has a terrific crew to thank for sticking with him through thick and thin.

With this being his first large Coachella concert, the singer-songwriter intends to have a good time.

The Weeknd Other Standout Performance

Aside from his performances in his concerts and important occasions, The Weeknd also wowed the crowd at the Super Bowl 2021 Halftime Show.

According to Deadline, he sang "Starboy," "The Hills," "Can't Feel My Face," "I Feel It Coming," and "Save Your Tears."

In their evaluation, they also said that his performance was exactly what many people would desire in a wonderful halftime show.

Furthermore, The Weeknd allegedly spent $7 million of his own money to outperform expectations at the Super Bowl and introduce himself to sports fans.

Talk about commitment.
