Roderick "Pooh" Clark has suddenly passed away at 49 years old.

In a post of the official Hi-Five band on Instagram, the band confirmed the passing of the former band member.

"OUR BROTHER OG RODERICK POOH CLARK #officialhifive RIH," they wrote along with a handful of mourning emojis.

Marcus Sanders, another member of the band Hi-Five, also announced Clark's passing on Facebook.

Hi-Five's musical director Martinez Little also paid his tributes on Facebook in a lengthy post.

"Pooh was the most athletic of them all. In basketball he could stand right under the basket and jump straight up and dunk the ball. Our play fights and Super Soaker battles were epic. We also used to battle each other hard on the Bball court in most cities," Little posted.

More so, late Hi-Five lead singer Tony Thompson's ex-girlfriend Angela Garcia-Shelby reminisced his times with the late Clark.

"Roderick 'Pooh' Clark, thru all your life's struggles, you fought the good fight, and you did it with a smile from ear to ear. I hate I didn't call u a few weeks ago when I told myself to! But you always kept me on the phone for almost 2 hrs when we talked, and there was no cutting u off! Lol," she wrote along with a throwback photo of them," she wrote.

Roderick Clark Cause of Death Unknown

As of this writing, Roderick Clark's cause of death remains a mystery to the public as it was not disclosed to the public yet.

Notably, in 1993, the whole band was involved in a vehicular accident that affected Clark forever.

As they were on the way to a radio station, the band reportedly crashed, leaving Roderick Clark paralyzed from the chest down.

It is not known whether his cause of death was related to the paralysis or not.

Who is Roderick Clark?

Born in Waco, Texas, Clark co-founded Hi-Five with the other four members of the R&B band, Marcus Sanders, Tony Thompson, Toriano Easley, and Russell Neal.

Hi-Five is prominently known for their Billboard Hot 100 hit, "I Like The Way (The Kissing Game)," on their self-titled 1990 debut album.

The band's album, "Hi-Five," was released thru Jive Records and was certified Platinum by renowned music producer Teddy Riley.
