Phil Collins faced an unbelievable experience with his ex-wife, Orianne Cevey, while dealing with health issues.

In the past months, Collins has been making fans worry about his health as the Genesis drummer looks frailer than ever. But aside from physical issues, he also struggled emotionally when his ex-wife made an absurd move.

In newly released court papers obtained by Page Six, it was revealed that Cevey got her new husband, Thomas Bates, from a male escort site while she was still living with the musician. She reportedly insisted on dating the 32-year-old "sexy intellectual" soon after finding him on the Cowboys 4 Angels website.

What seems to be more painful is that she secretly tied the knot with him in 2020 in Las Vegas before moving him into Collin's Miami Beach mansion. The 71-year-old singer was in Europe for a tour at that time.

After learning that his ex-wife remarried and took the man to his house while he was away, he filed a lawsuit to throw them out of his mansion. Collins eventually sold the $40 million property.

"At the time the parties met, Husband was employed by an escort service.....The Wife selected Husband through the escort service and insisted on dating him," the divorce paperwork reads, per Daily Mail. "The parties' relationship rapidly progressed into a meaningful romantic relationship. Wife persuaded Husband to leave the escort service to marry her."

Phil Collins' Ex-wife Eventually Divorced Thomas Bates

Only one year after getting remarried, Cevey announced that she should not have "hurried" love at all as she filed for divorce from Bates.

She wrote on Instagram that the pandemic took a toll to their relationship, saying, "I am filing for divorce from my husband, Thomas Bates. I believe the emotional distress of the COVID quarantine caused me to act in ways and do things that were out of character."

Collins and Cevey were married from 1999 to 2998 and share two sons together.

It seemingly became another major headache for Collins, who sparked concern as he remained seated throughout the performance at Genesis' O2 Arena show. He already told "BBC Breakfast" in September that he could barely hold a stick with his hands after sustaining a spinal injury. His vertebrae were crushing his spinal cord due to the position he follows whenever he drums in.
