Travis Scott is slowly getting back on track after last year's Astroworld Festival tragedy that claimed the lives of ten people and injured hundreds of concertgoers. The rapper just released a new song in collaboration with two of the prominent musicians in the hip-hop industry.

According to People Magazine, the 30-year-old rapper released a track titled "Hold That Heat," his first official single after Astroworld.

Scott collaborated with Future and producer Southside. (watch the music video below)

Although the rapper was also featured on Kanye West's "Pablo" from his highly-anticipated "Donda 2," it was not widely released, and fans only got the chance to hear it on the rapper's Stem Player.

The music video for his recent song has been released, and it amassed almost a million views within the first 24 hours.

The four-minute clip, uploaded on YouTube, was directed by Philip Andelman. The video featured the musicians rapping at a haunted motel decorated with poles and laser lights.

Scott was featured walking with a wild crocodile on a chain leash.

Per Hip Hop DX, Scott did many "heavy lifting" on the single as he sang all the chorus parts and had a rap verse in the beginning.

"Three hunnid days and it still ain't no sleep/Inside and outside, it was ninety degrees/Now it's big tables with lot of us seat/Mafia s***, G, you gotta compete," the musician rapped.

The song is projected to be included in Southside's "808Mafia" compilation.

"Hold That Heat's" release comes more than a week after Scott trolled Coachella with "Utopia" billboards.

Initially, the rapper was supposed to perform at this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival but was later pulled out after the Astroworld tragedy.

Online users started a petition calling for his removal from the music festival. The online petition received more than 70,000 signatures, saying his previous concert had "gross negligence and sheer lack of compassion for human life."

Days before the famed California-based festival kicked off, many billboards promoting his album appeared on the road that led to the concert venue.

"Pssst... Looking for UTOPIA? WRONG WAY!," the billboard reads along with the logo of Cactus Jack, the rapper's music label.

As of this writing, neither Travis Scott nor his record label has announced an official release date for "Utopia," but many outlets reported that it would drop anytime this year.
