Despite his ongoing lawsuit and series of controversies over the past few months, 6ix9ine claimed that he gave away money to strangers instead of spending it in a club.

Taking to his official Instagram account, the rapper posted a video of him inside a car holding a stack of money.

He explained in the short clip that he was supposed to use the cash to party at a club, but he ultimately decided to be a ray of hope to strangers.

The clip showed him approaching random people and handing them the stack of money. He also gave an unknown man and woman a hug.

The two strangers expressed their gratitude to the musician.

In another video, 6ix9ine can be seen visiting a family that lives on the side of the road. He claimed that he gave them a whopping $1,000,000.

The rapper captioned the post, "I GAVE A FAMILY 1,000,000 dollars ... this family didn't have water or electricity...... remember yesterday I told you guys every week I will try to give away 50,000 to someone random."

6ix9ine's latest charitable works come a few days after he backtracks from his wealth announcement, saying he's only using prop money for his followers.

"I'm an entertainer, and obviously, we talking about it, so I did a pretty good job at entertaining people," he said in a previous interview.

Prior to his interview, he flaunted five pieces of jewelry that could buy him over five mansions. He also showed the trunk of his car that contained cash.

In addition to the latest controversy, he informed a judge that he couldn't pay the $11.8 million in damages that were intended to the victims of a 2018 heist that he was involved in.

According to Rolling Stone, Seketha Wonzer and Kevin Dozier filed a lawsuit against the musician over his involvement in a robbery.

They alleged that he was involved in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. 6ix9ine pleaded guilty to the robbery and other federal charges.

He was sentenced to two years in prison but was released over the pandemic because his asthma put him in danger of contracting COVID-19.
