At the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, Dove Cameron's crimson gown truly brought the color "red" to the red carpet. Some critics have claimed it is one of the most eye-catching Ashlyn dresses they have ever seen on a woman.

It was not just the red color against her milky white skin, but the fact that this is one of the looks that featured the most skin on this event. But then again, it was only not crude or sexual, which adds to the magic. It was just provocative in many ways than one.

In this provocative strapless design, it was not her cleavage or belly button that were visible. The cut went a bit lower than that, thanks to a lengthy, sinuous cutout across the chest. A barely discernible transparent boned bustier sat beneath it, giving the ensemble an unexpected pop of color.

A red-and-nude mesh tulle floor-length skirt with delicate pleats complemented the head-turning top.

Red dresses are a common choice for the red carpet, but Cameron's style stands out for its uniqueness. It is from Ashlyn's spring 2022 "Capturing the Now" collection. In order to bring attention to the delicately draped pattern, Cameron split her hair in the center and let it fall over her shoulders.

She was certainly dressed to impress. Anitta and Becky G are among the other high-profile guests. This year's Billboard Music Awards are sure to be a fashionable affair, thanks in part to presenter Diddy and performers like Megan Thee Stallion, Travis Scott, and Machine Gun Kelly who have already been revealed.

The singer also was quite bold as she spoke exclusively to E! News about the success of her smash single "Boyfriend," which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart earlier this month. She did not mince words as to who she wants to collaborate with in the future.

I definitely think like I'm always really slow to catch up to any sort of success that I experience. So, I feel like I've internalized it and I've yet to like believe it's really happening. So, I'm just really moved. I'm really honored to be here today," she said.

To find out which other finalists she'd like to work with, we asked Dove, who recently covered Lil Nas X's "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)."

"Definitely I'm a huge fan of Lil Nas," she told Live From E!. "I'm a huge fan of Adele, Doja Cat, everybody. I think it's a really great time for music. I definitely would be honored to collab with anybody here tonight."
