This week's Billboard Hot 100 Top List is finally released, and it is a huge week for Bad Bunny and Lizzo!
Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 Dated May 21, 2022
Jack Harlow reclaimed the top spot of the Hot 100 list for his Fergie-sampled "First Class." It is likely that the track has taken over the spot again as Harlow recently released his highly-anticipated album, "Come Home the Kids Miss You" weeks ago. This is the song's second nonconsecutive week at the No. 1 spot.
Harlow's hit is in a tug of war with Harry Style's "As It Was" as it now landed on the second spot. The two have been fighting over the top spot for weeks now since it debuted a month ago. Harry's lead single was bumped off the top spot at the time "First Class" was released. Immediately the week after, "As It Was" took hold of the No. 1 spot until last week when it slipped because of the now-third spot taker.
Future's "Wait For U" dipped to No. 3 after its successful debut last week at the No. 1. It broke the "As It Was" record for three consecutive weeks at the top spot last week. This song is Future's second Top 1 Hot 100 song and Drake's tenth.
The fourth, fifth, and sixth songs were taken over by the recently-crowned Billboard Music Awards 2022 Top Latin Artist Bad Bunny. "Moscow Mule," "Titi Me Pregunto," and "Despues De La Playa" debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 charts. These all came from Bad Bunny's most recent album, "Un Verano Sin Ti."
Billboard Music Awards 2022 Top Rock Artist Glass Animals is clinging to their No. 7 spot with "Heat Waves."
Latto trails behind at No. 8 with her "Big Energy." The chart-topping artist performed the hit song last Sunday at the Billboard Music Awards 2022.
Lizzo is back on the Top 10 with "About Damn Time," which is also the most trending track on TikTok recently. The funky lead single to Lizzo's upcoming album holds the No. 9 spot, jumping from No. 19 last week. The track debuted at No. 50 at the time and fell to No. 60. Since its viral uptake in TikTok, it launched to a higher spot in the last few weeks.
To round the Top 10 up is another Bad Bunny song, but now a collaboration with Chencho Corleone. Bad Bunny single-handedly made history in the Top 10 for being the only artist to have landed all four-Spanish language songs place in the region simultaneously.
