Las Vegas was surely one of the most booked cities this year - after hosting the GRAMMYs for the first time in April, it opened its doors again for the Billboard Music Awards 2022.
The star-studded awards show has honored all the chart-topping artists who made massive strides commercially and culturally with their music.
But with its return to the MGM Grand Garden Arena, this year's BBMAs are nothing short of moments that are one to watch out for!
Billboard Music Awards 2022 Highlights
Megan Thee Stallion + Cara Delavigne + Doja Cat
Even before the ceremony went live, social media has kept a buzz with Megan Thee Stallion on the red carpet showing her body-hugging earth-toned two-piece outfit.
Cara Delavigne, who is peeking and hyping Hottie on the red carpet, could not resist on playing with Megan's outfit tail for an added effect for the photographers.
Later on, the two sat beside each other in the audience, with Doja Cat in the front. The trio, who seemed to be enjoying themselves, was a riot.
In another BTS shot, Delavigne was channeling her photographer side as she snapped a worms-eye-view photo of Doja along with Fat Joe and DJ Khaled. Talk about commitment!
Travis Scott BBMAs Comeback Performance
Days before the actual ceremony, the lineup for the performers for this year's BBMAs was announced - and the roster has stirred the community with one particular artist.
Travis Scott, who was infamously involved in the tragic Astroworld festival incident, made his first public live performance at the BBMAs since the tragedy.
Well, like the performer he is, Scott delivered a futuristic and chilling performance of "Mafia" and "Lost Forever."
Icon Award Mary J. Blige
Awarded to artists whose contribution has impacted the music industry and the magazine, Billboard's Icon Award 2022 is given to Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige.
To top it all off, her close friend and fellow Icon awardee Janet Jackson surprisingly awarded the coveted trophy to Blige.
Blige delivers a rousing speech on how she has endured so much to achieve all the success she has right now.
