Fans were shocked as Evanescence announced that they were parting ways with their longtime guitarist Jen Majura and the musician clarified something to her supporters.

Taking to their social media accounts, the gothic band wrote, "It has been a very special chapter in the band with our dear friend Jen Majura, but we have decided it's time to go our separate ways."

The group clarified that they would continue to love and support her in her future projects. They also expressed their gratitude to Majura, saying they enjoyed the good times and great music they created together.

As of this writing, there are still no updates on who would replace the guitarist for their future shows.

Since the band will be going on tour this year, they assured fans that a new lineup would be coming soon.

"we are hard at work rehearsing for our upcoming tour and will have some exciting news about the new lineup coming in the next few days, so stay tuned," they added.

Evanescence, Within Temptation's 'Worlds Collide' Tour

Fans are still waiting for Evanescence and Within Temptation's highly-anticipated collaborative tour, but it's been postponed several times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their first show was supposed to kick off in March 2022 but was later re-scheduled in November and December.

"We are left with no choice but to reschedule the tour, hopefully for the final time," the bands said in a joint statement in February.

Fans who initially purchased tickets and VIP packages will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, and venues for the shows have not changed.

Their first stop will be at the Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany, on November 9, before visiting cities like Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg, and many more.

The last show will be at Velodrom in Berlin, Germany, on August 12.
