Ice-T is not here for hatred regarding his and Coco Austin's seven-year-old daughter Chanel's recent stroller use. Suffice to say, he's not taking criticisms of his parenting decisions sitting down, let alone criticisms published in a news outlet such as CNN.
The 64-year-old musician retweeted an article about the contentious parenting decision, saying, "Lol... CNN? Really?"
The "Law & Order: SVU" star continued, "MFs ain't got s-t else to talk about. F em all. Smh. Lol."
His wife, Austin herself bore the brunt of the commenters' ire, which prompted her to fight back. She avoided calling out the bashers themselves, and focused on CNN instead.
She said CNN should just cover something more newsworthy.
"Isnt there a war & mass shootings going as we speak & you'd rather mess with my mothering?" she posted. "SMH."
Austin and the actor, who welcomed Chanel in 2015, took her shopping with them on Sunday, posting an Instagram slideshow of their outing.
"A stroll through the @atlantisbahamas shops," the former Playboy model captioned their supposedly sweet photos at the time. "Chanel is so over it unless theres something cool to see. Her face transitions instantly."
The nice photos however became the focus of those who cannot understand why the parents won't let their daughter walk.
One of the "Ice Loves Coco" alumni's followers said that Chanel was "too big" for the stroller. Someone else wrote to let their daughter "grow up."
This is hardly the first time that Ice-T and Coco Austin were criticized over their parenting decisions. Last time, Austin was mocked for continuing to breastfeed their baby beyond the "normal" years.
At the time, Ice-T still stood up for her wife and child. He said the bashers got it wrong. It's not as if their daughter exclusively breastfeeds. However, occasionally, she wanted to get close to her mom, so breastfeeding was the best route. He added that Chanel actually eats cheeseburgers, not just consume breastmilk.
In August 2021, when Austin's nursing was again criticized, Ice-T took to Twitter to defend her and even made a crude joke to make light of the situation.
"We feed Chanel FOOD... She just likes to suck moms [sic] boob every now and then. Me Too!!!," he said.
