Finally! After being one of the most notable bands for decades, Pink Floyd has decided to reach out to more fans by officially joining TikTok.

According to Yahoo! Entertainment, the band joined the video platform on May 30, the exact day when they recorded their signature album "The Dark Side of the Moon" 50 years ago.

The band is getting the hang of the app as they already uploaded three videos earlier this week.

The first clip shows the band's prism logo while lyrics to "Breath (In the Air)" appear across the screen. In the caption, the band wrote several hashtags like "#pinkfloyd #TDSOTM50 #TDSOTM #fyp."

The second and third clips played the songs "Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2" and "Learning to Fly." The video will take fans into a major throwback, featuring several footages from their decades-long career.

Both videos have text appearing on the screen that reads "PINK FLOYD NOW ON TikTok."

Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon' Is One of the Most Important Albums of All Time

According to People Magazine, the album was released on March 1, 1973. It featured familiar songs like "Money" and "Us and Them."

The record, which consists of ten tracks, was labeled a concept album as it heavily revolved around the themes of greed, time, death, conflict, and mental illness.

It was also inspired by Barrett's departure from the group after suffering from mental health problems.

The album amassed massive success internationally because of its prism logo by Storm Thorgerson. It is considered one of the band's most critically acclaimed albums.

In 2012, the Library of Congress declared the album as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

The launch of Pink Floyd on TikTok almost coincides with the 50th anniversary of another album titled "Obscured by Clouds," which was released on June 2, 1972.

The record became the official soundtrack for the movie "La Vallé." It was released amid the creation of "The Dark Side of the Moon."

As fans rejoice to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the two albums mentioned above, Pink Floyd has released a new song titled "Hey Hey Rise Up," their first single after 28 years.

The song is significant as all proceeds will go to humanitarian relief in Ukraine.
