Rapper Trouble will soon get the justice he deserves after the man who killed him finally surrenders.

Authorities divulged on Sunday that Trouble, an Atlanta-based rapper, was shot and killed at the age of 34.

The man accused of killing Trouble is now in custody after the officers and the murderer's mother convinced him to turn himself in properly and peacefully.

According to the warrant obtained by WXIA-TV, the suspect, Jamichael Jones, surrendered on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old accused is the ex-boyfriend of the woman who owns the house where Trouble was staying at the time of his death. He reportedly had physically abused the woman, which led to their breakup a week before the shooting occurred.

As quoted by GQ, reporter Tori Cooper said that the police went to the house of the killer's mother. The matriarch then called him and made him speak to law enforcement.

The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) spokesperson Jedidia Canty also released an official statement regarding the development.

"Jones agreed to turn himself in and has been charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, Home Invasion, and Battery," the RSCO news release reads (per CNN). "[He was arrested] without incident and taken into custody by the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office for the connection to the shooting death of Atlanta rapper Mariel Orr -- also known as 'Trouble,' on June 5, 2022."

The arrest came after the local officials released a wanted flyer and identified Jones as the suspect in killing Trouble.
