Blondie has been one of the most iconic New York bands in history, but they haven't released a box set yet despite being in the industry for decades. Today, it appears that they are ready to grace fans with more merch as they announced their biggest collection ever.

According to Billboard, the rockers will release the "Blondie: Against the Odds 1974-1982" box set which contains 124 tracks, 36 of which were unissued recordings.

In addition, they will have two volumes of liner notes, and track-by-track commentary from all of the members Chris Stein, Debbie Harry, Clem Burke, Jimmy Destri, Nigel Harrison, and Gary Valentine.

Other merch is also included like a 120-page illustrated discography, unpublished photos, and essays contributed by producers Richard Gottehrer, Ken Shipley, and Mike Chapman.

In an announcement, the band revealed that all tracks included in the set have been remastered from their original form.

The songs will be released in different formats like a super-deluxe 10-LP collector's edition, 8-CD, 3-CD, and a deluxe 4LP vinyl version.

Speaking about the upcoming release, singer Harry said it's a treat for them to see how far they have come.

"Fortunately the essence of being in a band in the early 70's held some of the anti-social, counter culture energies of the groups that were the influencers of the 60's. I am excited about this special collection," he added.

The vocalist also noted that listening to their old songs made him feel like a time traveler.

This is Blondie's first-ever box set since they launched almost 50 years ago.

The collection will feature their first six albums including their self-titled record, "Plastic Letters," "Eat To The Beat," "Parallel Lines," "The Hunter," and "Autoamerican."

All albums contain their most notable hits like "Heart Of Glass," "Tide Is High," "Call Me," "Sunday Girl," and many more.

Each re-released record will include more than 4 dozen demos, featuring a recording from their first studio session.

There will also be alternative versions and outtakes.

The set collection is available for pre-order on their official website. Each bundle will be released on August 26.

Blondie was a hit in the 70s, but they disbanded after the release of their sixth studio album in 1982. Since then, frontwoman Debbie Harry pursued a solo career, but she took a few years off to take care of Chris Stein who was diagnosed with a skin disease.
