It is a dream come true for fans to watch their favorite bands at a concert, but it would be a life-changing experience if they were invited to stage to perform with them. This is what The Killers did during their recent concert.
According to NME, a fan joined the band on stage to play the drums. He was picked from the crowd to sit on Ronnie Vannucci's drum kit.
Altogether, the rest of the band and the fan performed the song "For Reasons Unknown."
In an interview with BBC News, the fan named Kyle Grieve said he attended both gigs in Falkirk on June 6 and 7.
During the first show on Monday, he brought a sign asking if he could play the drums with the group. Frontman Brandon Flowers noticed and told him, "If you want to play on this stage, you have to mean business."
Grieve returned the next day with a sign that reads "Tonight I mean business." Flowers was convinced and let him up on stage.
Speaking about his experience, the 28-year-old drummer told the outlet that performing with The Killers was a dream come true for him.
"It's all I ever wanted to do. The Killers were my biggest influence, it's because of them I took up the drums," he said.
He revealed that he had another "wee practice" at their songs on Tuesday morning despite knowing all of their songs.
When Flowers finally asked him to go up on stage, Grieve said his "stomach sunk" and couldn't believe that it's happening.
"It's a dream come true, I'm a massive fan, I don't even remember playing and I've hardly slept, it was so amazing," he concluded.
