A week after her TikTok revelation went viral, Halsey continues her highly-anticipated North American Love and Power Tour.
After taking over Cleveland and Ontario last week, Halsey was supposed to perform at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, last night.
However, an unexpected turn of events prompted Halsey's team to cancel the performance.
Halsey Cancels Maryland Performance Due to Severe Weather Conditions
In attending concerts, fans always hope for the best conditions to watch their favorite singers live, especially in outdoor venues. While Halsey's fans in Columbia, Maryland thought that they would be spared from this hassle.
Hours before the actual start of the concert, CBS has reported that the Howard County and Baltimore areas in Maryland were already placed under a tornado warning. This is because storms began pouring into the area in the evening.
However, fans remain hopeful as the venue assured that Halsey's Maryland Concert shall still continue "rain or shine."
Even though the pavilion was already flooded, fans continued filling in the 19,000-capacity venue in no time.
Hours later, the venue confirmed that the concert shall be delayed without providing an indefinite time. minutes after, Merriweather Post then instructed concertgoers to return to the venue as the concert will start in thirty minutes.
Just when the concert is expected to start - the venue then announced that the Halsey's Maryland concert is canceled due to "weather-related technical difficulties."
Ticketmaster will be reaching out to concertgoers for more information.
Fans of the Americana singer were visibly upset on Twitter, posting photos and videos of how chaotic the venue was during the entire waiting time.

In one video, a part of the venue shows rainwater pouring out from the roof, flooding the walkways and the seats. A clip of what seemed to be a squirrel or a rat has also emerged as a tour crew violently kicking it off the stage.
Halsey, on the other hand, is "heartbroken and panicked" after seeing what happened to her fans. The "Gasoline" hitmaker called out the venue, noting how poorly they have managed the situation.
Maryland I don’t even know what to say. If you missed my live, I’ll post something soon explaining what happened. But right now I’m heartbroken and panicked and I just want to know when/that you all get home safely. I love you guys more than anything.

But despite the concert fiasco, Halsey assured fans that there will be a rescheduled date for the concert, in another location in Maryland.
I really want to add that I am beyond disappointed with the way the venue handled everything tonight and my rescheduled date will be happening somewhere else. I hear you guys loud and clear I promise.
