Kanye West has been out in the spotlight lately, and his most recent appearance at the BET Awards 2022 sparked rumors about the rap mogul's plans for his career.
The "DONDA" rapper shocked everyone after arriving at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, invited to present the BET Awards Lifetime Achievement Award for Sean "Diddy" Combs.
In his impassioned speech on Diddy's impact on his life, Kanye West mentioned some particularly bothersome remarks.

Donning a full-face black mask with a cap, sunglasses, and oversized jacket - Kanye West covers his whole face as he pays homage to Diddy.
Yeezy presented the award with fellow producer/artist Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.
"This is my favorite artist. You see what I'm saying? Favorite artist. Everything. Not specifically production. The drip. You know back then it was so many rules to hip hop. He broke all of them. Broke down all the doors," Ye detailed.
Aside from recounting the music mogul's impact on his life, Ye also pointed out how Diddy impacted most of his life choices - particularly his decision to marry.
"He inspires so many of my choices, so many of my life choices - my wife choices - thanks for that, Puff," he joked.
Prior to his infamous Instagram ban, Kanye has been particularly very vocal about his disdain for his estranged wife's current boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Kanye has taken direct jabs at Davidson on numerous accounts - to the point that he even burned bridges with frequent collaborator Kid Cudi because of the latter's friendship with the SNL actor.
Shockingly in his speech, Kanye revealed that he wanted to even declare himself "legally dead" for a year following his hiatus.
"I said, "I just want to be off the grid, and Puff is pretty persistent, but I had to think, bro, it's like, people get amnesia - like I should never have Puff have to ever call more than one time," Kanye explains.
This is the first public appearance of Kanye West in an awards show since last year. The rapper skipped the GRAMMYs last April after being barred from performing at the show for his alleged display of violence.
Ye was nominated for five awards last GRAMMYs, and despite his absence, he still managed to win two - Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance.
