Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn engaged? For months already? Surprising and not surprising at the same time. Surprising because it's been kept a secret for such a long time, but not that surprising considering the two have repeatedly said they like their relationship very, very private.
According to The Sun, Taylor Swift is supposedly engaged to her boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
The news source asserts that the actor popped the question months ago, but that the couple has "only notified" their tight circle.
Primarily immediate family and trusted, extremely old friends, according to the source. Everyone has been sworn to confidentiality.
In addition, the source claimed Swift only wears her lovely ring in private, to avoid raising any suspicion. Considering how she's watched like a hawk, any ring on her finger would certainly lead to a legion of "Taylor Swift engaged" or "married' reports.
The source said very few are aware of the wedding's specifics, and Taylor hasn't even informed her team of her engagement.
They want to keep their relationship as far away from the cameras as possible. This only applies to them. And if they do exchange vows, there will be no copies of Vogue, Rolling Stone, or Hello! magazines present. It will be simple and sophisticated, just like them."

Swift and Alwyn's representatives are yet to comment.
It can be recalled however that just back in April, Alwyn addressed rumors claiming he secretly proposed to Swift in an interview with WSJ. Magazine. He said these are all just that...rumors.
"If I had a pound for every time I think I've been told I've been engaged, then I'd have a lot of pound coins," he said at the time.
But then he also said that even if the rumors were true, he would not bother confessing.
"I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn't say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn't say."
This is why unless either of the parties confirmed it, it's still hard to say whether they are engaged and wedding bells are indeed, starting to ring for them.
While Swift, 32, and Alwyn, 31, have maintained a notoriously quiet relationship since they were originally linked in 2017, this is not the first time engagement rumors have surfaced.
Swift herself gave fuel to the rumor mill in January 2020 when she appeared to be wearing a huge diamond ring on her left ring finger in her Netflix documentary "Miss Americana."
However, Swift eventually included Alwyn into her work. He contributed to two songs on her 2020 album "Folklore" - "Exile" and "Betty."
He was give the pseudonym William Bowery.
He then helped also with on the songs "evermore" and "Champagne Problems" on "Folklore's" sister album, "Evermore."
Swift thanked Alwyn during her winning speech at the 2021 Grammy Awards, stating, "Joe is the first person I play every song I write for," and added, "I had the nicest time composing songs with you in quarantine."
