Kanye West and Drake have received mixed views and critiques on their two recent albums - DONDA and Certified Lover Boy.

While the two rap music heavyweights seemed to be unbothered by the negative feedback that came on their most new works, it might not be the same thing for Denzel Curry's words.

Denzel Curry did not mince his words on his recent comment about Drake and Kanye West albums, which he reiterated again in a new interview.

In a new SPIN feature, Denzel Curry did not hold back on his comments on Kanye West's DONDA and Drake's Certified Lover Boy.

In the words of the Clout Cobain hitmaker, Drake and Kanye West's albums were "subpar."

The 27-year-old rapper first detailed what he thought of the OVO rapper's recent work. According to him, he expected that Drake's Certified Lover Boy would match up to the quality of his previous albums - specifically, Take Care, and If You're Reading This, It's Too Late.

"I was looking forward to Drake's album, 'cause Drake always got something. But then, when you get them albums, you're like, 'What the f-k are you doing?," he explained.

As for Ye's DONDA, Curry was seemingly disappointed with the album.

"We don't even really need to talk about Kanye West, it's Kanye West. But for them to go out, and go against each other and make that subpar work with the resources they have," Curry elaborated.

For the Flordia-born rapper, these are the same producers he claimed to be hard for him to reach because they do not see the "return."

He even pointed out that they have "all" the resources but still made subpar albums, contrary to him, who had limited but still managed to put a great one.

To be fair with Denzel Curry, he is echoing the polarising views of critics on the two's albums.

As per NME, Drake's Certified Lover Boy was "a boring, bloated disappointment," while The Guardian brands Ye's DONDA with "misfiring lyricism from a diminished figure."

But despite the negative reviews, both albums debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 charts on their opening week.

Meanwhile, Denzel Curry's highest-ranking album on the chart was Ta133oo, which only reached #28.
