Shanna Moakler 'Concerned' For Ex-Husband Travis Barker Hospitalization: Is Drummer OK?

Travis Barker has recently stirred the headlines this week following his recent hospitalization.

Although the drummer seemed to be stable for now, his family, including his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, was still concerned about his current medical condition.

The Blink-182 drummer was suffering from a long line of medical conditions - and his recently diagnosed Pancreatitis is now at the top of the list.

Shanna Moakler Worried at Travis Barker's Health?

Travis Barker's ex-wife Shanna Moakler has finally opened up about his ex-husband's current medical condition.

In a statement released to Entertainment Tonight, Moakler has some reassuring words to say about the father of his children.

"Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern to my ex and father of my children, I know he is in great hands and surrounded by loving support and the best medical teams available and his beautiful wife Kourtney [Kardashian]," she said.

The Celebrity Big Brother alum also wished Barker a "speedy recovery" and the comfort of their children, fully knowing that they are "concerned and very worried" about their father's predicament.

Echoing the thoughts of Barker's fans, Shanna believes that Travis will surpass this medical hurdle.

"Travis has beat the odds numerous times and I know with his support system he will do it again. I will always be there for him and my children," the statement reads.

Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker were married last 2004 but were divorced in 2008. They share an 18-year-old son Landon, and a 16-year-old daughter Alabama. Barker also remained close Moakler's daughter with boxer Oscar Dela Hoya.

Travis Barker Health Update

As of this writing, updates on Travis Barker's health are scarce.

It was only until days after he was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center that it was revealed to be Pancreatitis was the real cause of Travis Barker's hospitalization.

The inflammation of his pancreas (Pancreatitis) was caused by a recent colonoscopy, a test used to check the colon (large intestine) for any changes - such as swollen, irritated tissues, polyps, or cancer.

The reason for the colonoscopy has yet to be known. The only information given to the media was that it was recently done.

Travis Barker's medical history was explored at the time were updates about his health were scarce last Wednesday.

On top of a Trigeminal Neuralgia that he was diagnosed with, he also had incidents of blood clotting, staph infection, and cellulitis.
