Harry Styles was set to perform at a concert in Copenhagen, Denmark, for his "Love On Tour" tour, but it was canceled a few minutes before his performance after several victims died at a nearby mall.

According to the Independent UK, the 28-year-old singer was about to start his performance at the Royal Arena on Sunday evening, but the unthinkable happened during the afternoon when authorities responded to a shooting at a shopping center.

The venue of the shooting took place less than a mile away from where Styles was supposed to perform.

Many people were killed, and survivors were injured. A 22-year-old man responsible for the traumatizing incident has also been arrested and detained behind bars.

Per CNN, at least three survivors were taken to Rigshospitalet in Denmark.

President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, took to Twitter to react.

"Thinking of everyone in #Copenhagen tonight after horrific reports of several people killed in a shooting in a shopping mall. We are with you Denmark," she wrote.

Despite what happened around the area, Styles was still expected to perform at his concert, which was supposed to begin at 8 p.m.

Fans had gathered at the arena prior to the time mentioned above, but an announcer later took to the stage that the show would not move forward and police would escort waiting for fans to go outside.

Taking to his official Snapchat account, the former One Direction member said, "My team and I pray for everyone involved in the Copenhagen shopping mall shooting. I am shocked. Love H."

The latest news comes a few weeks after a fan fell from a 35 feet balcony while watching Styles' show in Glasgow, Scotland.

The concertgoer was identified as Dylan Wood, and his mother spoke out about the incident, saying she was surprised when she found out about what happened to his son that evening.

His mom, Marion Hawkins, also revealed she watched the accident video, making her wish that she hadn't watched the video.

Following the harrowing accident, Wood was taken to the hospital and continued his recovery. He was placed under intensive care because of his head.

"He has two black eyes which I think is because maybe his face has been banged, his nose was bleeding and that's it," his mother said.
