Ricky Martin is facing serious allegations recently as a judge in Puerto Rico reportedly signed a restraining order against him after a shocking incident.

According to AP News, the order was filed under the country's domestic violence law.

A local newspaper reported that the "Livin' La Vida Loca" hitmaker had a relationship with another party for seven months.

The two separate ways two months ago, but the order petitioner said the singer didn't accept their break up and has been seen walking around their property thrice.

The unknown person is said to be scared for his safety.

The protective order will prevent the singer from "approaching, harassing, intimidating, threatening or in any other way interfering" with his alleged ex-partner.

He will also be unable to communicate with the petitioner's friends and family members.

More recently, Martin's team has finally addressed the allegations in a statement, saying the issue was "completely false."

"The allegations against Ricky Martin that [led] to a protection order are completely false and fabricated," a spokesperson told People Magazine.

"We are very confident that when the true facts come out in this matter our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated," they added. (via Entertainment Weekly)

Not Ricky Martin's First Issue In Recent Days

Per the outlet, this was not Ricky Martin's first run-in with the law, as he's facing a lawsuit after his former manager Rebecca Drucker alleged that he had over $3 million in unpaid commissions.

The manager handled the Puerto Rican star from 2014 to 2018 and again from 2020 to 2022.

However, Martin allegedly refused to pay her the amount of money after she worked for him by sorting out recording contracts, deals, and many more.

She also claimed an incident last year when the singer faced a "potentially career-ending allegation."

Drucker said she was forced to resign in April 2022 after the 50-year-old singer had a "toxic work environment," mistreated, lied, and manipulated her.

As of this writing, the singer's team has not publicly responded to the issue.

In recent updates about the star, Ricky Martin is set to make his Hollywood Bowl debut from July 22 to July 23 (Friday and Saturday), along with the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Gustavo Dudamel.

The show will feature classic hits and other international songs of the singer.

Tickets are available on the venue's official website.
