For the past months, Ozzy Osbourne's health has scared rock fans worldwide. From contracting the COVID-19 virus to undergoing major surgery, her wife, Sharon Osbourne, was nothing but worried.
But today, the two music personalities are finally having a good time as they are celebrating their 40th Wedding anniversary.
Ozzy, Sharon Osbourne Celebrates 40th Wedding Anniversary
Originally Black Sabbath's manager, Sharon Osbourne tied the knot with Ozzy Osbourne last Jul. 4, 1982. Since then, the two have had a long marriage compared to Ozzy's first wife, Thelma Riley, who he had divorced after only eleven years of marriage.
Sharon and Ozzy had three children - Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, all of who were born in the limelight. All of them were featured in the MTV Reality show program The Osbournes in 2002.
The two were one of music's biggest couples - considering Sharon's prominence on television and music management and Ozzy's Black Sabbath.
Sunday Times Rich List also considered the power couple as one of the UK's richest couples in 2005 - ranking at 458 with an estimated £100 million net worth combined from their recordings, tours, and TV shows.
Forty years since their wedding, Sharon and Ozzy were still going strong despite the latter's health scares. In a new Instagram post, both of them posted throwback photos announcing their anniversary.
Both clad in white, Ozzy posted what seemed to be their actual wedding photo in 1982, when a now-red-haired Sharon was still blonde.
Over to Sharon's page, the Osbourne matriarch posted a completely different photo - a rather recent one, where they are dressed in all black, sporting her iconic red vibrant hair.
"2022 is a special year for me. It marks 40 years of marriage to my darling Ozzy. We first met when I was 18, over 52 years we have been friends, lovers, husband & wife, grandparents and soulmates. Always at each other's side. I love you Ozzy," Sharon wrote.
Ozzy Osbourne Health Update
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's 40th Wedding Anniversary came weeks after the Black Sabbath frontman finally returned home after a successful surgery. Last month, Sharon tearfully explained her husband's medical condition on air at The Talk.
Ozzy has undergone major surgery to remove and realign pins in his neck and back from a previous tied to a 2003 ATV accident.
Apart from Ozzy Osbourne's Parkinson's Disease diagnosis in January 2020, he also had a "horrible" fall while at home that "re-aggravated an old neck and shoulder injury" from the said 2003 accident.
As of this writing, Ozzy is still recuperating comfortably at home and thanked fans who gave well-wishes for his speedy recovery.
