Johnny Depp is letting all his angst out on his new album. The actor has now turned full-fledged singer after winning his defamation trial and reportedly, he's singing his hearts out about Amber Heard...or rather, his hatred for her.
According to the Sunday Times of London, he sings ""I think you've said enough for one motherf-ing night" on the record he created with famed British guitarist Jeff Beck, which will be published on Friday.
Beck, the former Yardbirds guitarist, and Depp co-wrote two songs on the album named "18." The songs appear to show how Depp may have felt during the lengthy trial that exposed the couple's dysfunctional marriage to the world.
As reported to the Times, in one tune titled "Sad Motherf-in' Parade," he sings, "You're sitting there like a dog with a seven-year itch."
In another verse of the song, he sings, "If I had a dime, it wouldn't reach your hand," Back in June, Depp, 59, accompanied Beck, 76, on a series of tour dates in the United Kingdom. According to the source, their album is titled after the youthful age they claim to experience everytime they perform music.
The remaining songs on the album are covers, according to The Times, including "Caroline, No" by Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys and "Venus and Furs" by Lou Reed of the Velvet Underground.
In addition to his extensive acting career, Depp has a lengthy history of playing music. He just revealed that he will be touring with his rock supergroup "Hollywood Vampires" next summer. The group comprises of Johnny Depp, Joe Perry, Alice Cooper, and Tommy Henninen.
Last month, Depp prevailed against Heard, 36, whom he had sued for defamation after she published an article in the Washington Post 2018 alleging abuse against an anonymous partner.
A seven-person jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive penalties, despite the fact that Virginia statute limits punitive damages to $350,000.
In her countersuit against her ex-husband, Heard received a $2 million verdict. It remains to be seen however, if Depp can get any of the supposed damages to be compensated to him.
