By modifying the words to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP," a rapper has found an innovative way to encourage his children to complete their chores. The filthy viral hit was initially released in August 2020, creating significant controversy and accumulating 19 Platinum certifications in five countries.
It was also named song of the year by NME. While it is many nice things - kid-friendly was not one of them, until this rapper revamped the lyrics.
The track opens with the lyrics: "Whores in this house/ There's some whores in this house/ There's some whores in this house/ There's some whores in this house (Hol' up)/ I said certified freak, seven days a week/ Wet-ass pussy, make that pullout game weak, woo."
In a recent video uploaded to social media, New York rapper Kilah Blaze recorded his children changing a bed while he rapped a new set of astounding lyrics.
"Chores in this house/ There's some chores in this house," Blaze begins his version, before flipping Cardi's opening bars: "Certified dad, seven days a week/ If you don't clean this house up, you gon' be six-feet deep."
No one can deny that these are nicer to kids' ears - although no one like to do chores.
Cardi B asked Megan Thee Stallion to perform "WAP" with her on Friday (July 8) during her set at the Finsbury Park edition of this year's Wireless Festival.
"This is my motherfucking girlfriend, I adore her," Cardi remarked of Megan following her performance. The 'Hot Girl Summer' artist retaliated by twerking towards Cardi, to which Cardi responded, "I can't go weird with her because she's my brother's girlfriend."
It is the first time Cardi and Megan have performed the song in the UK together.
Megan Thee Stallion has responded to a video of Adele performing a portion of the viral dance to the 'Body Under The Bridge' remix.
"WAP" was not the only topic of conversation during Cardi B's Wireless performance. Friday night, the hip-hop diva rushed to social media to clarify that she did not engage in an incident with festivalgoers during her performance. She wrote, "It wasn't a fight," and sent her followers to a video of the artist in the pit surrounded by screaming fans.
"Hot Shit" is Cardi's first release of 2022, and it features Kanye West and Lil Durk. On Saturday, she tweeted that the music video for the song may arrive any day now. "Hot Shit" will appear on her sophomore album, the follow-up to her Grammy-winning first, Invasion of Privacy.
