Halsey is one of the music industry's chameleons when it comes to style and fashion as they're not afraid to express themselves through clothing, wigs, and haircuts. More recently, the singer shared their amazing hair transformation online.

Taking to their official Instagram account through its "reels" feature, the "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power" songwriter shared a video of their new haircut, donning a blonde mullet while wearing makeup from their About-Face cosmetics brand.

"Return of my mullet. and the nineties-vibes-only red and blue makeup combo. made by color mixing eye paints and lip paints," the singer wrote.

This isn't the first time Halsey, who prefers "she/they" pronouns, rocked a mullet hairstyle as they already had the same cut in 2019, saying the vintage style is a "girl's bestfriend."

In 2021, they debuted an orange-colored mullet inspired by "The Fifth Element" actress Milla Jovovich.

The dramatic hairstyle change comes more than a month after the singer performed the chart-dominating 80s song "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" by Kate Bush.

The "Young God" hitmaker surprised fans during their set at this year's Governors Ball Festival in New York City.

After performing the song, Halsey took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the song made popular again by Netflix.

"Truly wish I wrote this song more than anything in the world I'm soooo happy it's having this resurgence. I knew immediately I wanted to do this," they wrote.

Today, many online users are still bombarding several fan-recorded videos of the performance with comments, asking the singer to release an official studio version of the song.

"YOU SOUND SO GOOD WE NEED THE STUDIO VERSION," one wrote.

"Get in that bloody studio and record it girlie !!! We are DYING for it (and so are you I just know it)," another one wrote.

As of this writing, Halsey has not confirmed if they're going to release an official version of the track soon. Kate Bush has also not acknowledged the "Drive" hitmaker's performance.

Despite not recognizing Halsey yet, the English singer finally reacted to "Stranger Things" using her song and making it more popular than ever, especially with the new generation of music fans.

Bush took to their official website to issue a statement, saying it's exciting to see her song chart worldwide.

"It's all really exciting! Thanks very much to everyone who has supported the song," she wrote.
